Linda Sole Faul, originally from Long Island, New York, and completed her training with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. My inspiration for painting has become a passion; and desire for self expression, enthusiasm and inner peace within myself. I also studied with the Loveland Art Academy, and Taos Institute of Art.
I enjoy painting subjects from across the United States, southwestern themes, barns, farm animals. I incorporate bright, brilliant colors and a touch of fantasy. My signature paintings are my buffalo's and roosters. My primary medium is oil, although I have worked in acrylics, pastels and watercolors. I was also a goldsmith in Boulder for 20 years and had my own jewelry store.
I have shown my work in Boulder Studio Tour from 1999 to 2009, and participated in the Longmont Studio Tour from 2004 to 2016. I have my paintings exhibited in Arts Longmont, Mary Williams Fine Arts Gallery, as well as in Osmosis Gallery in Niwot, Lyons, and Athens, Ohio.
