I am a telemark skier, a backpacker, a trail runner, and a budding gardener. I love to play outside, and my creativity soars in sunshine. Long before I studied art in the mountains of Aix-en-Provence, I fell madly in love with painting in nature. As a new mom, my joyous return to plein air is heightened by the opportunity to share the value of the arts and the beauty of the outdoors with my growing family. I want to give the light and curves of this amazing place to eyes near and far.
I paint primarily in watercolor and oil, en plein air in and around Boulder. My pieces capture inspiring scenes from downtown, the mountains, local trails, and the farmlands beyond.
