I have followed my compulsion to create art my whole life, but for the past twenty years I have been blissfully scavenging for intriguing cast offs and fascinating objects to incorporate into my art. I assemble vintage play things, foam taxidermy forms, rusted metal parts, vintage doll parts, and a vast array of worn treasures and mixed medias and air dry and resin clay to create my sculptures. I find it endlessly delightful to experience the alchemy of how all these disparate parts and pieces come together. I feel like an author and my found objects and clay creations are my cast of characters and all I have to do is wait for my materials to tell me who and what they want to be and what they have to say.
