NancySin by Trica Duffy Vitrano
The inspiration for NancySin sprang from the an early childhood character created by my daughter, morphed with that 1960”s, boot dancing icon, Nancy Sinatra. Meggy Jo’s drawings featured impish characters with heart-shaped heads that liked to take on bullies, ("Heart Heads"). They later developed into large round heads "Smart Heads", that held lots of knowledge, after all power is knowledge. NancySin can always escape bullies, trouble and any injustice with her mad red boots. These boots are made for dancing, and that's just what they do. When she puts them on, watch out!—anything and everything is possible. They are dance and kick your cares away boots, and help NancySin fearlessly step her way through trouble, pain and any injustice she may come across. You'll find my kids inspiration and fingerprints all over the NancySin series. The pure of heart create with such freedom and abandon. It is so important to maintain this. Through art, design and conscientious commercial projects, NancySin seeks to empower women, girls and those who cannot speak for themselves. She encourages everyone to speak up, and fight for what is right. A portion of NancySin sales goes to this fight.
NancySin would like to remind you to "PUT YOUR BOOTS ON AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"
